Reset a Submitted Claim to an Editable Date of Service

Chart Talk is process driven, so if the correct information isn’t in the DOS (SOAP Note Screen) then the claim won’t be generated corectly. To update information on a DOS and regenerate the claim you first need to get the DOS record out of Complete Status.
1. Reset Claim Status to New
A. From Reset Claim Screen, select and reset the claim staus to New by clicking the red circle in the action column.

THIS RESETS YOUR CLAIM AS IF IT WAS NEW
Only use this if your original claim will not get paid. If you want to use Chart Talk Auto-Post, this will remove all reference to the previous claim and you will need to apply any payments manually.

If you reset and resubmit a claim that has been paid, you may receive an adjustment on a future check that matches up with the duplicate claim that you submitted.
