Definitions Appointment Status

Use Appointment Status on the ‘Clinic Dashboard’ to track where your patients are and to generate charges when appointments are complete.

 

Check In: Patient has an appointment
In Clinic: Patient is in the clinic (The action of changing the status from ‘Check In’ to ‘In Clinic’ shows the co-pay for the patient and allows the user to accept payment at that time)
Complete: Patient is checking out (The action of changing an appointment to complete creates a charge for that date of service)
Cancel: Patient cancelled appointment
No Show: Patient did not show for appointment and did not contact clinic
Reschedule: Patient rescheduled

*Note: Marking a patient as “Cancelled” or “No Show” does not remove them from the schedule
